Job Story #17 is a bit of a cop-out. I'll admit it, I wanted Labor Day off. But something interesting happened. While dubbing material for my ongoing "Defunct Media Digitizing Project" I stumbled across an Aerial View from four years ago that sowed the seeds for this podcast. The episode is from Sep. 2, 2014 and is entitled "The Working Life". Here's the description from the playlist page:

For Job Story #14 I decided to enter my vocal booth and rant for as long as I could, as if I was back on the air live. I enjoyed it. It felt like utilizing a skill in danger of atrophy.

You'll also hear a vintage piece I did for the old WFMU Program Guide, LCD, about being unemployed. Honestly, I don't know if it ever ran but it was interesting to hear how much is still relevant.
