Steamy waether continues in the East and some rain will move into the Coastal Mid Atlantic to Southern New England Friday on the backside of the Bermuda high.

Now inland, heavy rains are spreading northeasward into the Mississippi River Valley and the Upper Ohio Valley next 2 days. Steamy conditions with heat and humidity in the Eastern US with scattered thunderstorms, while in the Western US heatwave is resulting in record breaking high temperatures.

Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 7/3/2024. Hurricane warnings continue fo Jamaica and the Cayman Islands as Major Hurricane Beryl skims the south coast of Jamaica tonight. Beryl will pass just south of the Cayman Islands and then it is on to the Yucatan Peninsula Friday and into the Southwest Gulf of Mexico for the weekend. In the Eastern US the weather is in summer mode as heat and humidity return Thursday along with an increasing chance for thunderstorms as we move through the long 4th of July holiday weekend.

It is tracking west northwest and aiming for Jamaica Wednesday and eventually will make its way to the Southwest Gulf of Mexico late this week. Dry warm summer weather covers much of the Eastern US and that will give way to heat and humidity as we head for the 4th of July. Severe weather & heavy rain continues over portions of the Middle and Upper Mississippi Valley as low pressure and a cold front move slowly east. Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 7/1/2024. Dry summer Canadian air covers the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states into Wednesday before heat and humidity return for the 4th of July. Thunderstorm activity is non existent into Thursday but it does come back later Friday and over the weekend though it will be scattered in nature. Hurricane Beryl strengthened to a strong category 4 hurricane this morning as it crossed the Windward Islands and it is now in the Eastern Caribbean sea heading west northwest. Severe weather tonight will be in the Plains and it will shift eastward into the Mid and Upper Mississippi Valley Tuesday with elevated tornado risks.

Dry air come sin for Monday and Tuesday before we turn hot and humid again for Wednesday and Thursday, the 4th of July. Major hurricane Beryl is moving over the Windward Islands later tonight into Monday. The hurricane will head into the Caribbean and move westward next week though it is forecast to weaken somewhat thanks to strong upper level winds. We will look at Beryl, the week ahead and the long range.

Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 6/26/2024. After a brutally hot and humid day we have a cold front moving through the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states. Showers, thunderstorms and severe weather are likely as the front passes. Other areas of severe weather tonight are occuring over the Central Gulf States. Drier air returns later Thursday and Friday into the Northeast. Another cold front sets up for showers and thunderstorms in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic over the weekend. Severe weather shifts back into the Plains Tonight as well as Thursday and Friday.
