Joe  & Joe Weather Show Wednesday February 3, 2021 The winter storm that brought heavy snow and wind to the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic is finally moving away. The next low and cold front will bring snow to the Great Lakes and interior Northeast Thursday and Friday. Weather models were hinting at another storm late this weekend in Eastern US but have since backed away from the idea though some questions remain. Long range pattern looks cold next week with some storm chances along the way.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Tuesday February 2, 2021 The winter storm that brought 1 to 2 feet of snow across the Northern Mid Atlantic and Northeast is now slowly moving away from the coast and weather should improve Wednesday and Thursday. The next cold front arrives Friday with some rain or snow. Some hints of another storm system for the Northeast later in the weekend. Special guest Meteorologist Bill Goodman

Snow is spreading through New  England. While snow has tapered off to the south in Southern New Jersey and Southeast Pennsylvania it could back in from the northeast latet today and tonight.

A foot or more of snow is possible in some areas. Very cold in the meantime tonight as low pressure moves across the Ohio Valley. Winter Storm Warnings from the Lower Lates eastward.

Weather in 5 A very cold air mass is building southward from Eastern Canada bringing very cold in into the Eastern US. A storm in the west moves east across the lower Ohio Valley and then redevelops along the Mid Atlantic coast and crawls slowly northeastward. This will bring accumulating snow from Virginia to Southern New England Sunday night into Tuesday.

A powerful storm in the west will move eastward over the weekend and could bring snow to the Northeast and Middle Atlantic States early next week.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Wednesday January 27, 2021 A major winter storm is impacting the Western US with heavy rain and very heavy snows especially in California and Nevada. In the East another storm forms today in the Southern Mid Atlantic and brings lighter snows from the Tennessee Valley to Southern Virginia and North Carolina. The Northeast is bracing for the coldest weather of the winter. The western storm will come to the East Coast early next week.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show Sunday January 24, 2021 The first of two storm systems will impact the Mid Atlantic and parts of the Northeast with snow and ice Monday night and lasting into early Wednesday morning. For the most part this will be a light event. A second storm will develop and cross the Mid Atlantic and become a major ocean storm later Thursday. This storm has the potential to produce significant snows for parts of the Central Appalachians eastward to Virginia Maryland and Delaware, possibly reaching into Southern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

Weather in 5 After we are done with the cold weekend the first of two storms will head our way for the week ahead. This lead system is weak and disorganized bringing some wintry precipitation Monday night into Tuesday Night. The second storm looks more impressive on models today and that could have an impact on the Middle Atlantic states to Southern New England Thursday. The blocking pattern to the north will have a big say with both sytems.
