Undoubtedly the darkest episode of the show so far. Not in terms of visuals or gore, which we know the show can do when it wants to, but the themes and motives and desires of characters – or character – that we meet are extremely dark and puts our heroes, in particular Ellie, in grave danger.

The show continues from strength to strength, with the aid of wonderful cinematography yet again in this episode – as too a fantastic performance from Scott Shepherd as David, who gave me the creeps from start to finish.

Loosely based on true events, 'Cocaine Bear' pits residents and gang members etc against a drug fuelled bear. As silly goes, this isn’t exactly the silliest film you will ever see, and to be honest, I was expecting to have more of a fun time with this than I did. There’s laughs and gore, but there’s too much going on for you to really have a fun time with a film centred around a cocaine induced bear. There’s a sentence I didn’t think I’d be saying!

After a wonderful performance last week from Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey in this week’s episode is exceptional. I loved the relationship and chemistry between Ellie and Riley (shout to Storm Reid, who also was fantastic), both were so great together and to see them discover themselves was beautiful. As I’ve mentioned in pretty much every episode, ‘love’ is the biggest theme of the show, and this episode showcased that in a number of ways.

Idris Elba is back as John Luther, and boy oh boy is it good to see him. 'The Fallen Sun' finally brings Luther to the big screen, as he not only fights for his freedom, but also bringing down the latest threat in Andy Serkis’ serial killer. With some great set pieces and suspense, the film definitely has high points that Luther fans will bask in – there are slight negatives, but overall, this film adaptation is certainly one of the better ones

Family reunites in the latest episode of 'The Last Of Us', as Joel and Ellie finally find his brother, Tommy, and the community he currently resides in. Pascal truly excels in some scene stealing performances with such raw emotion, as too does Ramsey; who not only brings the high-level energy, but in contrast the sense of doubt whether any of their plan involving her will work. Pascal and Ramsey really shine together in what is probably the best performances from them both so far - making the final moments to the episode that little bit more sombre.

MCU have finally kicked off Phase 5, sending us spinning into the Quantum Realm where we finally meet Kang the Conqueror. Joined in this episode by my very good friend Ben M, as we discuss our mixed thoughts on the latest story involving Ant-Man, and how the Ant-Fam cope with Kang.

Released in 2016, this claustrophobic thriller was a sheer roller coaster of suspense and mystery. Questioning throughout whether John Goodman’s Howard (who is outstanding) is telling the truth, with his theories about the outside being uninhabitable, or whether he has a sinister motive for Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Michelle (also, absolutely fantastic) who is being kept against her will within his bunker. The film was such a change in pace and direction from its original blood relative, that it instantly went in to my favourites list. Catch my full spoiler thoughts in this revisit

Just when you think there’s hope for certain characters, The Last Of Us reminds us that ‘happy endings’ are very few and far between. ‘Endure and Survive’ not only had top performances from newcomers Lamar Johnson and Keivonn Montreal Woodard, but also included an incredible set piece which had my jaw on the floor. We find Joel and Ellie within Kansas City, as Ellie discovers that people are just as big a threat as the infected. Introduced in this episode is Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen who I’m very excited and intrigued to see how their story unfolds, and just what she has in store for Joel and Ellie. Pascal and Ramsey once again showcase the fantastic chemistry they have, as their respected characters bond and become closer – and more importantly, begin to trust one another.
