Today’s culture will tell you to take what’s yours and work your way up to fame or to having authority. In today’s message, Pastor Mark says we must be humble to please the Lord. This is very countercultural. God wants you to go against the grain and live life in a way that shows others you think of them before yourself. While Jesus was on Earth, He showed humility in many ways. He served the poor, healed the sick, and even dined with tax collectors. In all that Jesus did, He looked towards others above Himself. That’s what you need to do today. Think of others more than yourself and see how your life will change for the better.
