John 6 In Its Historical Context - Does The Father Select Who Believes In Jesus or Send To Jesus Those Who Believe? | Brad Robertson
In this teaching, Brad explains that the Father does not select who believes in Jesus but rather sends to Jesus to be raised up on the last day those who believe. Brad shows that Jesus in John 6 is addressing a Jewish audience concerning his identity as the Messiah, and those who believe that he is the Messiah who the Jewish Scriptures said would come will be brought by the Father to Jesus to be raised up on the last day. Brad connects Daniel 12:2-3 to John 6 to describe the historical conversation between Jesus and his Jewish audience.
