Do we seek God’s face or God’s hand? It’s easy when we’re new Christians to concentrate on seeking God’s hand. Our prayers are focused on what we can get from God. In our times of worship, we think about what we receive. God wants to pour out blessings on us, but He really wants to have a relationship with us. In his message today, Pastor Mark will challenge you to take a step of maturation in your faith. Instead of seeking God’s hand, seek His face. Concentrate on getting to know God and just spend time with Him. Rest in His presence and bless Him when you pray. Know that worship is about giving to God, not receiving.
