Scripture says that believers will be rejected and mocked by the world. In today’s message, Pastor Mark says though Christians will be rejected by the world, God draws near to them. God is a God of love, and He wants to be close to you. That’s why amidst persecution, He draws closer to you, to comfort you and give you peace. God loves you for who you are. He made you and wanted a relationship with you. He sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins. The cross stands as a proclamation that the grave has been defeated and Jesus has conquered once and for all. He made a way when there wasn’t a way, that’s just how good He is.
