In the final hour of the show John and Lance discuss the coaching tree that came from Mike Shannahan including Matt Lafleur, Kyle Shannahan, Sean McVay and Mike McDaniel. The guys then discuss the halftime performance in the upcoming super bowl. At the bottom of the hour the guys discuss James Harden and the NBA trade deadline and they wrap up the show with some news of the weird.

In the second hour of The Bench the guys discuss the Rockets and their loss to the Pelicans on Sunday night and talk the latest trade rumors going on with the team. At the bottom of the hour John discusses what he learned over the weekend and him and Lance discuss Bryan Harsin. The guys finish off the second hour talking about the best farm systems in the MLB.

In the first hour of the show John and Lance react to the Texans being "in talks" with Lovie Smith to become the next Head Coach of the Texans and what that means for Josh McCown and Brian Flores. The guys continue discussing Head Coaches in the NFL including Mike McDaniel being hired by the Dolphins. At the bottom of the hour the guys discuss Nick Caserio and then wrap up the first hour taking some calls from listeners and discuss what they learned over the weekend in one sentence.

On the final hour, the find out they lost a listener due to the fact the listener felt that Lance did not know what he was talking about when it come to the Houston Texans and the NFL Draft. The guys then move on discussing the Indianapolis Colts have a possible trade for quarterback and who would be a good fit, also talking about the Jacksonville Jaguars with the new hire of Doug Peterson as the new head coach. The guys discuss a new sport of pillow fighting that is now coming out professionally. At the bottom of the hour, the guys talk about in Europe people are taste testing dog food getting paid $169 thousand dollars before talking about Osama Bin Laden's mansion home in Bel-Air.

On the second hour, Lance starts off the hour talking about his experience with Spirit Airlines before moving on talking about talking about Hugh Jackson and his recent comments about the Cleveland Browns. The guys then move on to talking about the Houston Texans head coach position being available with the possibility of Josh McCown becoming the new head coach. The guys then move on discussing Daniel Snyder, the owner of the new Washington Commanders football team, catching heat for the new name of the team before recent comments made about him from a former cheerleader for the team. At the bottom of the hour, the guys continue talking about Brian Flores chances in the NFL.

On the first hour, the guys talk about the Pro Bowl and the different events and activities that was included into the Pro Bowl. The guys then move on to talk about Brian Flores and whether or not he would be a good fit to be a head coach for the Houston Texans or would they move into a different direction. The guys then talk about Mattress Matt making a 4.5 million dollar wager on the Cincinnati Bengals winning the Super Bowl. At the bottom of the hour, the guys discuss how the Los Angeles Rams upgraded the team over the last couple years.

In the first hour of the show John and Lance talk about Jimbo Fisher going off on Lane Kiffin and others saying that Texas A&M is "over the salary cap" due to NIL deals and the hypocrisy in other SEC school calling them out. Bottom of the hour the guys talk about the Brian Flores lawsuits and the fallout that has come from it and they wrap up the hour with an interview with Spencer Tilman. 

In the second hour of the show the guys are joined by Dusty Stanfield to talk about the Senior Bowl and Draft then Lance gives more insight from what he has seen in Mobile for the Senior bowl. Bottom of the hour the guys talk about the Rockets beating the Cavs last night and they wrap up the hour with some talk about Brady possibly joining the broadcast booth. 

In the final hour of the show John and Lance talk about airport horror stories including a friend going through customs then they rehash their conversation about Jimbo Fisher's press conference. Bottom of the hour Five Star calls in to give his plays for this weekend and they wrap up the show with "News of the Weird".
