Today we cover 1 Samuel Chapter 17 and enjoy one of the Bible's most famous stories - David AND GOLIATH! Did you know Goliath had a brother who was  just as tall and had 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on his feet?2 Samuel 21:18–22; 1 Chronicles 20:4–8

Today in 1 Samuel chapters 15-16 we see the introduction of a shepherd boy named David and prepare for his time to come as king. David provides Saul peace with his music and then brings out the worst of Saul as Saul becomes afraid of God's favor upon him. 

In today's episode, we cover 1 Samuel 13-14 and see the introduction of the character Jonathon, Saul's son. We also see the Urim and Thummim being used and a brief explanation of their significance. 

Today we cover 1 Samuel 11-12 and see Saul's first military test as Isreal king. Failure on Saul's part would have lead to a shortage of eye patches in the land. 

Today we review 1 Samuel chapters 9-10 and find the Son of Kish looking for lost donkeys. As usual, God chose this  "nobody" to become King over His people. Don't ever think you are "nobody" in God's eyes :)

Episode 222 - Today we cover 1 Samuel 7-8 and see the hearts of the people turn back to God under the leadership of Samuel after the return of the Ark of the Testimony (Covenant.)

Today we look at 1 Samuel 5-6 and see the effects the Ark had within the Philistine camps. It doesn't take long before they look to send it back.
