John Barklow spent over two decades in the military initially as a Navy
Diver then after 9/11 as a member of a select instructor cadre teaching
and
developing equipment for US Special Operations troops to survive and
thrive in austere mountain environments.
John took his decades of experience into the civilian sector and
currently
develops technical hunting clothing and equipment systems as the Senior
Product Manager for Sitka Gear. He also shares his hard earned knowledge
across numerous platforms to include his website and Youtube channels,
Knowledge From Storms and his first on-line training course, BackCountry
Mission Planning, through the Outdoor Class platform.
