For many Canadians, it felt like their victory too. Yesterday, Justice Mosley ruled that the Emergencies Act, declared by Prime Minister Trudeau, was illegal. After years of feeling that all institutions had failed, finally there is a recognition that the Freedom Convoy was not the heinous enterprise described by the prime minister and portrayed in the media. It's unclear what effect this judgement will have on the criminal charges against Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, but it is the beginning of renewed hope for the country.
