We go first to their conversation about the Washington Post and other papers refusing to endorse a candidate. Later we hear the guy's interview with John Zumbrunnen, faculty advisor to BadgersVote at UW Madison, to talk about student voting and the Gen Z voting bloc. Wrapping up this week's best of, we hear the tail end of John and Gordy's conversation with Tim Slekar of BustED Pencils this week, where they talked AI, in the medical field, education, and more, and also touch on their other podcast topic this week: showing emotions in healthy ways.

  • Vote For Who You Want

Its November! John and Gordy start the show talking about their (stress) balls again, then dive into the National Day Calendar. After a brief historical look at Today in History, we get into What's Trending: Trump saying he wants Liz Cheney to be executed by firing squad. After the break, we wrap up the discussion about his "nine barrels" comment, then get into Idiocracy. Topics in that wheelhouse for today include a fact check on Trump's title of "Border Czar" for Harris, and wrapping up the hour, a look at Jesse Watters and Charlie Kirk's comments about how men's wives shouldn't be allowed to for Harris.

  • BadgersVote

In part two of their Halloween special, John and Gordy get into the Big Story: more on yesterday's rally for Kamala Harris at the Alliant Center, with some interviews with attendees. We then dig into healthcare, with comments from Mike Johnson in which he vowed to repeal the ACA (!), as well as a clip from RFK, where he alleges that Trump would put him in charge of public health. We check in briefly with Brittney Merlot for a look at today's weather (not great for Trick or Treating), then get back on the topic of healthcare. After the break, we welcome in John Zumbrunnen, advisor of BadgersVote at UW Madison, to talk about student voting, what BadgersVote does, and the significance of Gen Z as a voting bloc in this election. Wrapping up the show, we chat about the economic plan of Elon Musk if he were part of a Trump presidency, and share a laugh over headlines in the new Onion issue.
