This offender abducted five different girls and women and held them in his concrete underground bunker.  His victims were held for months and even years as they were assaulted on a daily basis.  That is until one of his victims, a sixteen-year-old girl outsmarted him, other people got involved and was ultimately rescued by law enforcement.  The offender is John T. Jamelske: The Boogeyman of Syracuse.
