Isaiah 59:2 notes, "your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear."

And like the disciples, we might forget those moments, like how they may have forgotten the miraculous things God had done when they were in the midst of yet another storm, feeling alone and afraid.

And any "peace" that is not grounded in a relationship with Jesus Christ is temporary at best. It not only won't last, but it won't satisfy the deepest longings of your soul.

Listen… you don’t have to be in agony about God’s will for your life, it’s amazing what He can do with our normal schedules

Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and men.

If we live with authenticity and allow others to see our flaws, we open our lives up for people to see what freedom looks like.

Colossians 3:4 – When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory

To be conformed to Christ’s image means, in this context, to be like Him presently in holy attitude and behavior and that one day we will be like Him in eternity

One who knows God and loves God and wants to live for God has to be grieved by sin around us and in particular when we are the object of lies.

From one end of the Bible to the other, we are commanded to be thankful.

All relationship development depends on communication. God speaks to us through His Word, and we speak to Him through prayer.
