To continue hour three Sam talks all things ACC football with Ken Sugiura of the AJC. Sam starts things off by asking Ken how he’s been handling this pandemic both personally and professionally. Next, Sam asks Ken what his observations have been of Georgia Tech thus far. Ken says it’s been difficult and “different” with the pandemic, but also says Georgia Tech has done a very good job with player availability to the media. Also, Ken says the Yellow Jackets did a great thing in making their assistant coaches available. Sam then asks Ken where he thinks this team should be as far as an on the field product goes. Ken responds by saying “you’re looking for progression, how much is the question.” Ken says a season “close to .500” is a sign that things are “headed in the right direction.” Ken follows that up by saying they want to build upon the three wins from last year so 4 or 5 wins means good progress, and obviously more is great. Sam then asks about Florida State, the Yellow Jackets first week opponent, and what has happened to them during their decline. Next, Sam asks Ken about head coach Geoff Collins’ actions after the muder of George Floyd, and what he thinks it says about Geoff. Ken says that Geoff showed he really “genuinely cares about his players”, and that Georgia Tech is a part of Atlanta, and since Atlanta was hurting Georgia Tech was hurting as well. Finally, Sam asks Ken for keys to a win against Florida State. Ken says they have to have good quarterback play, and one area he really will be watching is offensive line.

Sam kicks off hour three by talking about what’s been going on in the US Open and how they’ve been handling the pandemic. Sam continues the hour by talking about all things Braves with Mark Simon. Sam first asks Mark about what he’s seen from the Braves so far. Mark says that “Everyone in the NL East has problems.” Mark continues by saying that the Braves just haven’t had their “best lineup.” However, Mark does say that with Ozuna and Acuna getting hot that the Braves could very well get by just by outscoring everybody. Next, Sam asks Mark about some other teams around the league that have surprised people this year such as the Rays and Padres. Sam and Mark also discuss the passing of the late great Tom Seaver. Finally, Sam asked Mark how he thinks the Cardinals have stayed in the thick of things after being hit hard by the Coronavirus, and how well baseball has handled the pandemic overall. Mark says he’s been very impressed with the Cardinals defense and resilience, and also he says he wishes baseball would’ve been more careful in the beginning, but they are now trending in the right direction.

Sam continues the hour by talking about all things NFL with former NFL Primetime crew member, Russell Baxter. Sam starts things off by asking Russell how he’s been handling this pandemic both personally and professionally. Next, Sam asks Russell how he feels about the NFC South coming into this season, Russell says that Tampa Bay is planning on being good basically because of the fact that they will probably limit there turnovers tremendously, for an obvious reason *cough Jameis Winston *cough, and New Orleans will be a favorite, but the *Falcons are always a mystery.* Finally, Sam asks Russell what he expects to see on Thursday between the Texans and Chiefs. Russell reminds everyone that the Texans was one of the teams to beat the Chiefs last year, and that it could go either way.

Sam continues the hour by talking about all things NFL with former NFL Primetime crew member, Russell Baxter. Sam continues the football conversation, and gives his thoughts on the upcoming college football, and NFL season to end hour two.
