Jonathan Niven "Jon" Cryer is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and Emmy Award winner. He had a lead role in his film debut, No Small Affair, but his breakout role was Duckie in the John Hughes film Pretty in Pink. Cryer is best known for his role as Alan Harper on the sitcom Two and a Half Men from 2003–2015, which earned him an Emmy Award and three nominations.
