Today’s guest is an inspiring entrepreneur who defies the odds in a male-driven industry and has many thoughts on changing this status quo. Rather than focusing on issues, she collaborates with organizations to provide a gateway for young people to develop interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
When she was 8 years old she submitted her first marketing plan, managed a non-profit event at 12, led a team of marketers in one of Canada’s best managed companies at 24 and was a Director at a Publicly traded company at 25.
She co-founded her first company with her sister and then leading to a global market share of non-profit customers for communication and membership management.
Today, she is working on a new company, realSociable, focused on social insight for deeper engagement with customers.
RealSociable is making a lot of noise and growing rapidly. so far, customers have included such companies as HP, Vodafone, Microsoft, and Salesforce.com.

A few years ago, my guest today emailed Seth Godin to ask if he could produce a podcast based on Seth’s hit book Linchpin. Seth said yes, and The Unofficial Linchpin Podcast was born. That takes guts and I respect anyone that is willing to come up with a mutually beneficial idea and then ask for what they want.
In that same year he partnered with Cliff Ravenscraft, the world’s most popular podcast consultant, to create a technology show called Business Tech Weekly.
In early 2013 he self-published his first book The Early To Rise Experience: Learn To Rise Early in 30 Days. His book was a tremendous success and as more and more authors wanted to learn the secrets to his success he built The Self-Publishing System.
Today’s guest is a creator and encourager. Whether it’s a podcast, book, blog post or speech, his message is the same. You must take permission if you want to live a great life, create great art, and positively impact the world.

One of the hardest parts of starting your own business and becoming an entrepreneur is finding the time. This gets even harder when you have a job, family and all of the demands that come with both of these.
Today’s guest is different than every other guest I have had on the show, so far. She is an entrepreneur, but only during her Fringe Hours.
She has a full-time job working in social media and content at a Children’s hospital, she is a mom to 3 beautiful children — the youngest being only a few weeks old at the time of this conversation.
Yet, despite all of this, she has built an incredible business around a blog called The Mom Creative.
She makes what many would consider a full time income off of the business, but she has no plans to quit her day job.
As if this isn’t all enough, her very first book was officially released on February 17, 2015 and it is aptly titled, The Fringe Hours: Making Time For You.

When I originally sat down to outline the idea for Hack The Entrepreneur, I immediately wrote out a short list of people that I wanted to interview. I used this list as one of my metrics for success and I am happy to say that today’s guest is number two on that list.
The idea that one person could start a blog, not sell anything for 18 months, and turn that blog into an 8-figure media company is endlessly fascinating to me.
He is a former lawyer, serial entrepreneur, writer, builder and meditator.
In January of 2006, my guest started a one-man blog called Copyblogger.
Copyblogger is now an 8-figure per year media company called Copyblogger Media, of which he is the founder and CEO.
He has ranked among the top in the world for social media and content marketing. He's been featured in countless books about business and media, and he has graced many stages.

Today’s guest is a former lawyer turned entrepreneur.
He follows a core principle in his own life, and upon which his company was founded; that is that one should leave everything and everyone better than they were before they met. By bringing positivity and abundance to others, you can’t go wrong.
He is the co-founder of The Art Of Charm, which is an insanely popular website that teaches ordinary guys to become extraordinary men. It has become a multi-million dollar business that teaches social influence and interpersonal dynamics.
He has spent several years abroad in Europe, South America and the Middle East. He has also worked for various governments and NGOs overseas, traveled through war-zones and been kidnapped - twice. He’ll tell you; the only reason he’s still alive and kicking is because of his ability to talk his way into (and out of), just about any type of situation.
