A meditation preached by Fr. Eric Nicolai at Lyncroft Centre in Toronto, on December 18, 2022. Matthew relates it exclusively from the perspective of Saint Joseph, who as a descendant of David represents the link between the figure of Jesus and the Davidic promise. The angel appears to him in a dream, and he was able to discern God's will.
