In this episode, I reflect on my journey as a new podcast show host. My first quarter of the Journey Free Podcast has been a blessing as I have consistently posted weekly since March. I am so proud of myself as this is just the beginning and I intend to keep going. Admittedly, finding a quiet place to record can be challenging, at times, as I live with others. I do want to produce the best quality content but at times I resort to some not so common places to record. Find out where this episode was recorded by tuning in to our first segment on, "Living with Others." Remember there will be times you may have to compromise and think outside of the box to solve the problems that come up in your life.
Greater is coming! My vision for this podcast definitely exceeds where we are today. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for this space and the opportunity to share my life experiences through conversation; however, I am confident that my talents, gifts and abilities will positively impact my listeners and even myself. It's important to 'big up' yourself. Be your biggest cheerleader. Dimming your light does not serve your greatest-highest good.
1. Acknowledge where you are great
2. Be confident in yourself despite the perceptions of others. You are enough.
3. Be shameless and take action towards the opportunities that are available to you.
Have you ever wondered what your dreams mean? Do you want to know why you dream? Have you ever considered keeping a log of your dreams or even setting an intention for your dream state before going to sleep? In our second segment you can listen in on my dream journal. It gets pretty personal! This was definitely a moment of vulnerability for me as I don't share my dreams with everybody. I feel we have a connection and I trust ya'll with this part of me. My dream actually set the premise of this episode. I reflect on what I read, what the dream taught me and what I feel like spirit wanted me to know from what I dreamt.
Lately, I have been challenged with finding my place: a sense of belonging and togetherness with a tribe of like-minded individuals. After going through current world events, for this past year, it has put me in a position where I have felt extremely isolated and lonely. This time has taught me to take time for self care, to be alone and learn more about myself. My dream taught me about my need for social acceptance and the growth that I have reached as I am now a person who is strong-willed enough to step away from spaces that do not serve me. I now know that I am called to be with a certain group of people. I acknowledge that my message is special and it is for a certain group of people. I trust that the universe has great things for me socially to come. I am being patient with the process knowing that greater is coming. The right people will connect with me but in order to reach that space I have to put myself first. There is no need for me to attempt to fit in because I was born to stand out. Be unique unto yourself! Your individuality is special.
Uneak Tershai, a multi-dimensional one, who loves to talk openly about life experiences, inspires others to embrace their differences and encourages them to love themselves for the uniqueness that they are.
