Tamsen was not afraid of a little hard work, once she put her mind to something, she would rise above the challenge and succeed. So, when she was told that she had developed Type 1 Diabetes, she went out and did her own research in order to form her own strict diet, after she felt like her doctors were giving her a weak diet plan that would lead to more complications down the road.

While her parents were in the process of getting a divorce, Alyssa was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder when she was fourteen years old. She would experience episodes of mania and depression. She almost didn’t graduate because she missed so many days of high school, but in the end, she did graduate and was even accepted into NYU, where she studied Marketing and Creative Writing. Alyssa now coaches other female entrepreneurs on client and sales strategy.
