On July 9 – 12, R’ Aaron led a group on a “Journey through Ashkenaz”, exploring 1000 years of Germany Jewry. On the first night, R’ Aaron spoke at the new K’hal Adas Yisroel, part of Lauder Yeshurun, in Berlin. He spoke about the centrality of work and effort in matters of Ruchniyos.

The last stop of the trip was to Auschwitz. After we left, on the bus to the airport, R' Aaron shared his final words with the group. It was a powerful perspective on the Holocaust - משפטיך תהום רבה.
