Priscilla talks about the importance of being thankful and looking for even the smallest things to be thankful for in life. Having gratitude does so many positive things for us. What are you thankful for today? Currently, in your situations, what are you thankful for?
Here are some things that you can do to give thanks.
- Give thanks to yourself. For allowing you to change and grow. For accepting you for who God made you to be. For giving you permission to feel.
- Call, text, write or tell someone in person how much they mean to you or what you are thankful for.
- Journal things/moments you are thankful for before you start your day or as a reflection at the end of your day.
- You can leave post it notes around to remind you of the things you are thankful for.
- You can speak them. Even speaking them as an affirmation is wonderful. I am thankful that I am purposeful. I am thankful that I am intelligent. Things like that.
