Hey my loves! It’s been a while! Bare with me as I create these podcast episodes on God’s timing and not from my own personal will and agenda! My intention is to only share what I feel deeply in my heart so, HERE WE GO!
Ugh, this is such a raw and transparent episode because it’s happening in REAL TIME which makes it even more juicy! Let’s get into what I’d like to call, “The Gift of Not Knowing A Damn Thing” haha!
I would love to hear from you all and if you have ever been in this season and how you journeyed through!

Hey my loves! Okay, so imagine being in an absolute paradise and still experiencing deep sadness and anger and being so confused because you believed that being on vacation, having more money, finding love, etc was the answer to happiness!
Let’s chit chat about my experience on dealing with tough emotions and how I find peace within no matter where I am or what I have. It’s still a journey for me, but I feel content enough to share my story and the tools I use that help me!

For thousands of years monks have followed the same daily routine. Why? Why do they wake up at 4am? Honestly, why does anyone even wake up earlier than 9am? How important is a daily routine and do we actually even need one to begin with? I followed some advice from the morning routine of Buddhist monks and here is what happened!

Let’s be real, most of us have spent a lot of our time gossiping or discussing our likes and dislikes of others. But why? What makes us judge others and how do we stop it?
During my time in Tanzania, in a little village called Makunduchi I remembered the knowingness of non-judgement and perspective.
May we grant others the compassion to express their perspectives with non-judgement. May we be able to accept each other. May we be able to see from each others perspectives. May we be able to acknowledge that our own perspectives are only ours.

My relationships with my friends and family feel stronger than they ever have in my life despite being thousands of miles away from home. I’ve learned that giving up and letting go was the foundation for much deeper connections with those I love.

What is your favorite day and why? Is it Friday, because that’s one step closer to the weekend where you can live out all of your dreams and do the things that you find joy in? Is it the two days that you are not scheduled to work? Is it at the start of your vacation? Two years ago I use to always wait for these days — my two days off, the weekend, or the start of my vacation until I decided that I am not limited in the days that I can enjoy life!
What if we treated every moment, every second , every minute, every hour, every day, like a New Year?
What if we didn’t wait until tomorrow, or next week, or Friday, to celebrate life?
What if we decided that we would use every moment to create newness?

As a female solo traveler one question that I am frequently asked is, "Is it safe?"
I heard so many horror stories about traveling to India and yet I still made a bold decision to walk through the streets of New Delhi at 5 am and this happened ...

I’ve taken many social media breaks in the past, but this one was very different for many reasons. 37 days away from social media, 30 days of yoga and meditation, 30 days of journaling, 30 days of reading, and a whole lot of Magic Mind shots to keep me focused and it was one of the most eye opening and freeing experiences that I’ve had in a long time.

I spent most of my early adult life being busy, "chasing a bag", never having time, and working overtime. After almost two years of living abroad and being immersed in different attitudes and perspectives my views on being busy have shifted.

It’s a lot more than just packing up a bag, it’s the part that kind of goes unnoticed but that is actually the most important part to starting on this kind of journey. It’s a mindset. It’s a new belief system that you have to adopt that holds yourself accountable to changing our thought patterns
Of course there are the actions — having a goal, a plan, and taking the steps to check things off of that list but in my opinion the most important part is your mental preparation. I give 90% of the credit to my mental preparation and the other 10% to action.
Here is something powerful that I read to myself every morning. There is not a day that passes that I don’t read this. This is where that pursuit, that confidence, that sense of safety, and that drive come from!
