If being crazy means living a life of adventure, chaos, adventure, fun, uncertainty, and curiosity then sign me up and tell me how I can upgrade to completely insane!
have you ever spent 48 hours traveling with a complete stranger that you met on Instagram? Done drugs in a foreign country? Or found out the truth about who someone you thought you knew thousands of miles across the world? OMGGGGGGG, me too!
On this episode I am sharing some of my most crazy travel stories! Please do not try to these things at home .. or in any other country!
*Takes dramatic deep breath* A LOT has been happening! 4 countries in only 2 short months! Some call it traveling, I might just call it a small case of insanity! The bluest beaches ever, dancing to Swahili music until the morning, visiting the last slave market, almost being trampled at a Makunduchi Festival, impromptu dance lessons from the Maasai tribe, lunch dates in the middle of the ocean ... on a rock, and sun poisoning in Tanzania. Spending over 100 hours in a Jeep driving from one country through to the next on an 8 day solo safari from Tanzania to Kenya, up close experiences with hyenas, lions, and probably any other animal you can remember from "The Lion King", living with a Maasai family, brushing my teeth with an all natural toothpaste and a toothbrush sourced from the savannah, and breaking my vegetarian diet to try Kenyan kebab. Which bring me to Turkey where I think I experienced a food orgasm, partied until 4 am with strangers, booked the wrong flight and had to take a 5 hour bus to my destination, did a photoshoot with wild horses in Cappadocia, who the fuck am I? And I am finally reunited with my baby in Ukraine! *Takes dramatic deep breath again* So, let's start where we left off, leaving Indonesia for Tanzania. Mambo or what's up in Swahili! Let's go to Tanzania y'all!
Planning to travel the world wasn’t as hard as it’s talked up to be! I have never been much of a planner anyway, I’d rather figure things out as I go, BUT there are some things that definitely need to be taken into consideration before you ditch your current country to explore a new one! Here I’m sharing how I planned to travel the world. From preparing to be a solo traveler, finances, bookings, mental space, to connecting with people and more, I’m spilling it all!

After 7 months I'm finally leaving Indonesia! Wow, what a hell of a time that I've had in this country! From amazing landscapes, meeting amazing, crazy, and weird people, falling in love, indulging in local culture, nightlife, volunteering, exploring so many new hobbies like free diving and surfing, to most importantly being able to sulk in the atmosphere of such a multidimensional place that allows one to just exist! I checked so many things off of my bucket list and did some things that I am proud of myself for! I've also ended up in a lot of crazy ass situations as well. Until we meet again Indonesia ... or not!
There are so many things to consider when traveling or moving to another country. To be honest, as a black American, understanding how life is for your race is one of them. So, let's talk about it! On this episode I'm talking about my experience on what it's like to be black in Bali, Indonesia. From boundaries, friendships, music, food, beauty, being asked for pictures, to racism! Hear me out!
I like to believe that we are all unique and possess some kind of super power. My super power is doing whatever the hell I want because I understand that time is all we have. I walk through jungles barefoot, hug people that I've only just met, visit strange places, dance like no one is watching, dive into the deepest ends of the ocean, and I keep climbing after I've slipped and fallen! I quit and start again. I fail and win. And most importantly, I stopped waiting for Friday!
