Lindsay McKenzie is an author, adventurer, and soon-to-be adoptive mama. After 2 years of infertility, Lindsay and her husband decided to embrace a life "detour" and travel the U.S. full-time in their RV with their 2 dogs. They've documented their infertility journey and their travels on their blog, but Lindsay was also inspired to write Follow Your Detour, the book, in March of this year. They are now taking a new detour and have started the adoption process, 5 years after discovering they can't have biological children together.

Kelley loves to see people come to healing and hope through Jesus. She is a speaker, writer, teacher of all things infertility, women, faith and hope. As founder and visionary of Waiting in Hope National Infertility Ministries (WiH), Kelley helps launch new WiH local support groups throughout communities and churches across the country. She has a passion for discipleship and watching WiH leaders love on many women and couples wanting to grow their family but who instead find themselves getting lost in the struggle. Through her own journey of years of waiting, infertility treatment, endometriosis, surgeries, miscarriages, roadblocks, adoption dreams, and a calling to step out and share, Waiting in Hope was started. In finding purpose in her painful journey, Kelley has seen joy and hope take root and grow blooms of healing in her heart and thousands of others. A writer/creator of six WiH studies, her curriculum is now being used by hundreds of women each semester to guide them towards the true source of Hope.

Five years ago, my world was completely rocked at the passing of our first baby daughter. Since her passing, I have found strength and community through writing about motherhood, marriage, and my journey in faith. I live with my husband, Jon, outside of Boston. We are currently raising two daughters: Gracie Kate (3) and Avery Joy (1). I hope is to share my own journey as I learn to parent from a place of loss.

Jessica has seen the goodness of God in the midst of the heartbreak of infertility and the joys of adoption. Her life has been one with lots of hard, but it’s been in the invitation found in the hard, where she has found deep intimacy with the Father. She is madly in love with Jesus and passionate about empowering mothers to walk in their identity as daughters, as they raise up a generation of warriors for the Kingdom. She is a stay at home mama by day and writer/blogger by night. She lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her life crush, Brandon, and their two heart grown children, Selah and Micah. She is also called “mama” by her spunky nine year old foster son. She is hungry for more of the Father and goes after deeper places in His heart with other women through her online community. She is the founder of a ministry called The Garden, that connects women on the broken road to motherhood, walking through infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, and adoption to healing and wholeness. Jessica’s writing was published in Adopted for Daily Life: A Devotional for Adopting Moms but is most known for her popular blog, Grace While We Wait. She speaks to women all over the country about the intimacy she has found in the heart of her Father, but how that intimacy is also available to them.

Kelsi Cole & Alyson Brown are friends, co-workers and fellow travelers on the road of child loss.
Through our eerily similar stories (see more in our bios), we realized that the Lord was at work in the midst of our grief. We leaned heavily on each other as we walked this heartbreaking road. Through many conversations (and tears) we realized that we had both been given the same dream; the dream to minister to other mommas who had walked this path. Through lots of prayer and research, Foreknown Ministries was born. We both firmly believe that there just aren’t enough resources our there for families who have experienced pregnancy and/or infant loss.
