Brian and Kristin work through John 13:1-17 as they continue going through the book of John. Brian and Kristin discuss where they were, what it felt like, and how they prayed during the terrorist attacks on 9/11. They discuss the events and how they responded, how our nation responded, and focus in on the Word of God for hope, joy, and peace. This is a somber episode once they get into the heart of their discussion.  We would like to thank all of our military service men and women who willingly lay down their lives for our nation, many whom joined the armed services soon after 9/11. We also wish to thank all of our 1st responders who lay their lives on the line everyday to heal, save, and protect us.

Brian and Kristin share about their weekends and the lessons learned before jumping into the passage in John. This is Jesus' last public message before his crucifixion so it is an immensely important moment in his life.

This portion of John describes Jesus going back and forth with a group of people who are intent on keeping their conversation within the physical realm of things, while Jesus is describing the spiritual.  Jesus makes a dynamic and revealing statement at the beginning of this passage, setting the tone for what is to come next.  We must obey His teachings if we want to be true disciples.
