Pastor Brian shares with us the list from "Practical Ways to Bless Your Neighbors!" This list is a starting point and our hope is that is will stir some creativity in your own life towards blessing those around you more intentionally. At Pursuit Friends Church, we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus everywhere we go, with everyone we meet. We are called to be disciples in all aspects of our lives. We hope that this list and podcast will help to equip you and inspire you to have the heart for people around you as you "go" about living your everyday life.

Brian and Kristin talk through John 8:1-31 and learn that Jesus is more interested in forgiveness and restoration than he is condemnation. He is concerned with truth and getting to the heart of the matter when it comes to the sin in our lives. He looks past circumstances and stares directly at our hearts. The Pharisees thought they had Jesus trapped, but instead they find themselves speechless as he frees the woman caught in adultery from her sin (by the way, where was the man?)! We had technical difficulties with the Zoom call, so please bear with us as there are several short moments where the audio is glitchy. This conversation was soooo good, however, that we wanted to work through it and keep the conversation going.

Brian and Kristin were finally able to get together (after a couple weeks of not podcasting) for this encouraging and challenging discussion through passages from Matthew 7, 8, 9 and 10! They also discuss "Practical Ways to Bless Your Neighbors" a list they developed for Pursuit Friends Church which will help give people ideas on how they can practically serve those around them. The conversation is fun, it's deep, and we hope that it will stir creativity in your spirit for how you can be the tangible hands and feet of Jesus to a world that is desperate for love and healing.

Kristin and Brian are back to wrap up chapter six of John and they discover that Jesus gives us the choice as to whether or not to follow Him. Jesus doesn't force anyone to follow him, in fact, he lost many disciples/followers at the end of this passage. He describes himself and some find that Jesus was not going to do what they expected. He lets them go, but the twelve that remained (minus Judas, of course!), would go on to change the world.

Pastor Brian walks us through this important passage of John as Jesus is trying to encourage the people seeking him to look for the right thing - a true and eternal relationship with him. These people wanted the miracles, but Jesus knew what they needed more. Welcome to Season 2 of The Pursuit Friends Network Podcast! We are excited to start the Spring and Summer seasons with fresh perspectives and fresh new episodes that will highlight all that is happening in our network of house churches. In this episode, Brian and Kristin share about the amazing Sunday we had as both house churches came together as one family to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. We talk about the perspective of all four gospels as they portrayed the story of Christ's resurrection from the dead and we gain keen insights to the people who were there witnessing and experiencing it. We apply that to our own lives and are encouraged to have peace, which only comes from the Lord.
