    1. Ive been taught that Jesus was 100% God and 100% Man, I don’t doubt that, although I am curious as to why Jesus would need to be ministered too by angels.(matthew 4:11) What could Angels teach the Son of God - Noah

    2. Hi Pastor Adam, Not sure if this was asked previously - apologies it was already asked. My question was about interpreting the bible in the historical context or modern context. The culture, customs etc were vastly different during the times the different books were written.

3.Some of the teachings are relevant to the customs of those times, but would be totally out of place in today's world. Take the role of women in society (or church specifically)for example - women were expected to provide a supportive and obedient role, and any leadership role was actively discouraged. Even Paul discouraged women to have an active leadership role in the church. And that was ok because it reflected the prevailing customs of that time. However - how do we reconcile these teachings in the modern context? Do you think we should adapt the teachings of the bible to better reflect modern context? Or should we just take the spirit of teachings and the message and apply to the modern context ? Would love to hear your thoughts! BTW: I loved your message today about Jesus' interaction with the Samaritan woman by the well - Jesus was really beyond his times, engaging with a woman and considering her worthy of his time - talking about the nature of worship and revealing he was the Messiah, to the surprise of his disciples. And this question was triggered by that message, Pastor! - Raju

4.My question is about preaching and evangelizing to the Gentiles - did Jesus include the gentiles during his preachings? From all accounts in the Gospels, Jesus' focus was on the Jews during his teachings (although he did ask his disciples to spread the Gospel around the world in the end ). Was the idea of gentiles being included start with Peter's vision, and then Paul's travels and teachings? - Raju

    5. The promise at Jesus birth was ‘peace on earth’ yet there are wars raging… isn’t that a false prophecy? From Tony from San Mateo

    6. How can church be relevant still when it’s thousands of years old… nothing else from that time is relevant From Monty

    7. How many prophecies did the birth, life and death of Jesus fulfill? How do we know - if you include the non-cannon books, are there even more we don’t traditionally know about?

As Christians, how are we to understand, spiritually, when accidents or sickness leads to death or loss of life, etc? It seems to lead to the "what if" game. Does God see our end when accidents or bad decisions lead to our tragic events? Is it our fault, devils works, or God's will that leads to these "accidents"? - Chris Flores

Could it be possible THEY under the dominion of the ruler of Egypt at the time built the pyramids? Or does that throw off the ‘timeline’.
    5. This is not intended to be vain but just a simple question about the fall of mankind. 9.  I wanted to ask about Julian and what Pastor Adam and Pastor Jessica  thought about "Why would someone who went to a Christian pre-school, Christian elementary school, graduate from a Christian high school and then graduate from a Christian University, then after much thought decide not to believe in God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit? Where was the hole in his foundation. Did I fail in my role as his Godfather because he never discussed his doubts with me? Does Proverbs 22:6 actually mean he will return to our Heavenly Father or is it a warning not to let him have his own way when he was young. Also, have they had any experience with this type of situation with someone
they know? Thank you. - Chris Flores

    10. Hello pastors. In Mark 15:38-39 " "The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!' can you please explain what the passage means by the centurion saying, "surely this man was the son of God." How did the centurion come to that realization? Since this centurion was a Roman officer, I'd imagine it would've had to be something spectacular for him to come to that conclusion. Is it from the curtain being torn? I don't really understand that. Any insite you can give. Me would be very much appreciated. Love the podcast. Thank you. - Brandon G

    Questions:

    1. We have had quite a few Mothers and sisters who have passed on at a young age (50,60,70’s) this past year. My mind goes to the woman with the issue of blood and the years she suffered. Jesus said it was her faith that made her well. Was our faith not strong enough with regard to the ones who have passed on? - Chris Flores

    2. Can we talk to the dead? - From boys from fuel

    3. As being raised Roman Catholic, do you consider the sacraments as a valuable component missing from the Protestant denominations. For example the usefulness and accessibility of confession, which I personally believe can lead to sozo but on the other hand have also heard that it was used as blackmail at times historically. - Franco

    4. Can I disagree with God's methods and philosophy, while also loving and respecting God? - Anonymous

    5. As someone who can't fully put my faith in god, or Christianity as a whole quite yet, although I am trying, I have a question that I've been pondering for quite some time now and seek your insight on. It's less on the philosophical side and more on the psychological/historical side of things. - essentially, I'd like to figure out more about how religion as a whole effects humans and our survival as a species on earth. To be more specific, how religion appears to be capable of becoming a nearly unbreakable base upon which to build our personalities, and various other aspects of our psyches when adopted from a young age (Or at any age for that matter, albeit more difficult to adopt). Aswell as being a nearly infinite source of hope and will to live. I found it very interesting that when looking at what religion is, and what it does for people from a psychological standpoint, I started to understand just one of the many reasons why religion is so important, not only to people's mental stability & fortitude, but to the survival of human kind as a whole. I know that psychology may not exactly be your area of expertise, but I figured that you may have some very useful insights or opinions to give on this topic given your extensive knowledge of, and history with the Bible and its teachings. Thanks. - Anonymous

    6. On the subject of promises, in the 10 commandments, the only one that comes with a promise is to honor your father and mother and your days may be long. What does honor mean, because not all parents are good parents, and does this guarantee if you do honor your parents you will have a long life when we are also told we are not promised tomorrow? - Ryan Welch

    7. How to you reconnect with God/Religion when it was used as a punishment growing up? I do believe and when I'm in church I can feel Gods grace. I have PTSD from this and would like to be freed from this stigma. Thank you. - Trisha
