The beginning of the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 7 is one of the most cherry picked, misunderstood verses of scripture often used as a way to shut down conversations that arise out of Charity. People are so comfortably dead-set in their ways, that any critique, however constructive or charitable is viewed as an attack. Error does not have rights and we must in charity, "judge" one another by our public actions against the objective standards given to us by God.
