Sin separates us from God. Every type and flavor of sin – not just the ones we don’t struggle with. He designed us in His image and when we choose to disfigure that image by serving ourselves and allowing wicked thoughts and actions in our lives, we are actively rejecting Him and trying to become gods. We live in a world pervaded with wickedness, but it’s nothing new. Sin has been wreaking havoc since it first entered the hearts of Adam and Eve. As Pastor Mark will remind us in today’s message, sin is a dealbreaker for every single human. The only way to fix it and become right with God is through Christ.
