Juggalo Judgment

Is new music dropping soon? Did Mike get like 3 new albums to listen to this past week+? Do you like to say the word "yes" when people ask you yes-or-no questions? Well if you answered "yes" to at least 2 of those questions, you're in luck! Mike chats about the albums dropping in the next 2 weeks that he's excited for and gushes over the stuff he's been playing nonstop recently. There's a minor meltdown towards the end calling out some shitty people, so stay tuned!

Remember when we talked about Hell's Pit? Times were... Well, actually, they were about the same as they are now, to be honest. Talking about ICP's darkest album to date was not an easy task, and so we had some help back then to tackle the endeavor. Since then, we've grown wise and we're ready to bitch-slap anything the clowns could throw our way! Do we find out if this collection of remixes is more cohesive than the last? Should some of the producers have taken more than 10 minutes to come up with a beat to slap on their respective song? And does Mike FINALLY convince Schmeev that a remix is better than the original? These questions and more will be answered here, so grab those a cappella tracks and bust out Frooty Loops, because this is... The Wraith Remix Albums: Hell's Pit. (Yeah, it's the same as last time, but the last tiny bit is different. Remix, yo.)

Did some stuff get announced in the last 2 weeks? Yup. Did a fuckton of news crop up at The Gathering? Yup. Did Mike experience utter euphoria from professional wrestling in the last 2 weeks that he's forced to talk about it today? You bet your sweet bippy he did! Today's episode is just the right amount of excitement mixed with some solemn vibes, so peep it.

Remember when we talked about The Wraith: Shangri-La? Times were simpler back then. We were in the same room recording. The audio quality was under par (not our fault). Schmeev was working 3 jobs just to make ends meet while still taking time to visit the local orphanage to bring some diamond rain to the children. Meanwhile, Mike just had a crisis of faith when he realized how much he loved The Wraith compared to his first love, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. But something we knew was that The Wraith, the end of it all, it was special. What we also knew was that Schmeev never likes remixes. But we've matured since then! Can an album so pivotal in the careers of the clowns be touched again? Do new producers provide a fresh take on some classic carnie tracks? Does Schmeev decide that he DOES like the remix of "Juggalo Homies" that we encountered way back on Forgotten Freshness 4? These questions and more will be answered here, so grab those a cappella tracks and bust out Frooty Loops, because this is... The Wraith Remix Albums: Shangri-La.

Maybe it was a good thing Mike didn't have an episode a few weeks ago, because there's SO MUCH to talk about now! Today, he goes over the plethora of events that the underground has going on this month, as well as some other things happening later this year. Is he going to any of them? Maybe. But, like, none of the super big ones. That's life. Enjoy!

It's August, which means it's officially the spooky season! Wait, it's not? Well someone needs to tell all the white girls that it's STILL SUMMER, DAMMIT. YOU CAN WAIT 2 MORE MONTHS. Anyways, you should probably let Twiztid know as well, but October of 2006, they at least released something that made sense for the time. Twiztid LOVES Halloween, and at their yearly Fright Fest event they decided to release a compilation of songs from prior Hallowicked and Fright Fest shows. How do these stack up to the Hallowicked tracks we covered from ICP's 2005 Hallowicked Compilation? Do Twiztid nail the vibe of scaring the shit out of you? Are there times where they just harass young trick-or-treating children just for the hell of it? And does this have one of the best posse cuts we've come across so far on this show? Find out today as we get set for Cryptic Collection 4... Wait, no, that's not it... People USED to call it that until the ACTUAL Cryptic Collection 4 came out in 2011 and threw everything off... That must mean this is... Cryptic Collection: Halloween Edition.

ICP have never been quiet of their distaste of rednecks. Hell, they mention it on pretty much every album. So it's not too hard to understand the confusion that many Juggalos must have felt when Psychopathic Records signed Boondox, the first Southern artist on the label. Violent J has made his fair share of questionable decisions in the past, so it was certainly fair to question his choice here. Was Boondox capable of shutting down any naysayers? Did his Southern flair help him stand out from the rest of the group? Was he worthy of his spot on the label with an arguably better contract than what AMB had? Find out these answers and more today. So grab your finest hoe, spread your seeds, and be prepared for... The Harvest.

Waddup, everyone! Yeah yeah yeah, Mike Check is a day late. Well sue me! I was doing something super effing cool this weekend, and if you listen to this episode, maybe you'll find out what it was! Also, we talk about some new music that came out and some new stuff that's coming out! Don't sleep on this episode!

By 2006, everyone on Psychopathic has released a solo record. I mean, Wizard Of The Hood might as well be a Psychopathic Family album, but... wait a minute, this seems really familiar... OH, THAT'S RIGHT, WE'RE IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE! Yup, Jamie Madrox heard you calling him out for waiting so long before making a solo record that he decided to hook you up with 2 records! Well, more like 1 record... 2 times. That's right. Remixes, guest verses, and more! And to make this an even more special an occasion, we're joined by the one and only Blade, using their vampire-hunting knowledge to decipher this album to the fullest! So what do we think? Was this album worthy of having an alternate version? Does Mike finally convince Schmeev that a remix is better than the OG? Does Blade have anything to offer in the form of cool stories since they didn't know anything about this record prior to us roping them in for the episode? Find out this and more today as we shoot off to the far-away dimension of... Phatso: Earth 2.

Mike is here a day after his birthday (he accepts birthday wishes in the form of Tweets, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and Forever Faces) to just chat a lil bit! New Oh! The Horror album came out, shows are happening, and a pretty real topic to think about at the end. Much love to you all, stay safe!
