OH YEAH, YOU THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T GONNA HEAR FROM MIKE, HUH? WEREN'T SATISFIED WITH SCHMEEV'S INCREDIBLY ACCURATE REVIEW OF THE NEWEST GODDAMN JOKER CARD? WELL... that's fair. Mike was super busy during the weekend and needed to take an extra couple days to process everything. Like, a lot of music dropped recently, in case you didn't notice. But hey, he's here to chat about it in some fashion now, so that's good, right? Today, we discuss Tech N9ne, Twiztid, ICP, and more!

Mike's usual weekly segment is once again hijacked as Schmeev decides to listen to the entirety of Yum Yum Bedlam on release and give his thoughts track by track. These aren't just initial thoughts, they are the same types of notes taken for a regular release, just without a second person to bounce conversation off of, so it runs much shorter. So go ahead and listen to my journey through the 5th Jokers Card, or go get your own listens first, I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life.

In 2007, Twiztid decided it was time to make some big plays. Similar to The Green Book, they would "play the industry card" and secure guests for their next album, but rather than try and get super massive guests that everyone knew of, this time, they would showcase the underground. The JJ Boyz decided to do the same thing, and we secured our OWN guest, ending the (fake) beef with the one and only Robbie, better known as TwiztidHistory. Who has the guest spot on this record? Does Twiztid's first time working with Seven on a number of tracks set the tone for the future? If the Weak Shit was Out in 2007, why do some people think it's what Twiztid is doing in 2021 (not Mike, he fucking lives for the new shit)? Find out the answers to these and more. Get your grill ready and crack open a cold one with the boys, for today we celebrate... Independents Day.
Major thanks to Robbie for joining us on this episode. We had a blast chatting and look forward to having him on again in the future. Show him props on his awesome Instagram page @TwiztidHistory!

Mike is here today reminding you that you have until noon on 10/18 to preorder your copy of Yum Yum Bedlam from Psychopathic Merch! Also, he rambles a bit about some other music and gushes over the Twiztid concert! Stick around for details on how to win a signed copy of Twiztid's Unlikely Precription!
Just a year after his debut LP on Psychopathic Records, Boondox is back with an EP. That southern hooligan just couldn't be stopped, and even just a little more music from him would help silence the naysayers of his dedication to the label, right? Does Boondox expand on his scarecrow roots? Does he venture into darker territory? Is that dueling banjo/harmonica section on "Southern Nights" just flat-out awesome as fuck? Find out now as we get into the Halloween spirit (that's a stretch, I know). Be careful going through the patch; you might find... PunkinHed.

We got some new albums to listen to and some new albums announced to briefly discuss, but let's be real: Mike is going to his first concert in nearly 2 years later this week. That's all he's been looking forward to, and the post-concert depression is gonna hit HARD after. Let's get prepped!
You know who loves remixes? Schmeev. He can't get enough of them. Anytime the word "remix" is even hinted at, he gets super hype, ESPECIALLY when it's something by Insane Clown Posse. Well in 2007, ICP predicted that Schmeev would wanna hear some remixes from their most recent LP, and decided to give the Juggalos some of them, and even audio and vocal tracks on their own so they could remix to their heart's desire! See Schmeev, ICP DO listen. Are the selections for tracks suitable for the album? Did the producers understand the original feel of the songs and make their own versions that still hit that mark? Does Schmeev finally get his fill of remixes? Find out today as we take a look at... The Tempest DJ Mix Kit.

No bullshit here: Mike has been listening to the single most anticipated album he's had in a VERY long time. How much could he possibly gush over it? Find out today!
We talked about remixes much longer than Schmeev would have liked, and while it was fun to stroll down memory lane, it's time to move on. ICP knew this and were finally ready to drop their next LP in the spring of 2007, their first effort with the return of Mike E. Clark. After 6 years apart from the clowns, could MEC harness the same magic that he and ICP were known to create together? Were ICP continuing with what they started on The Calm or did they decide to do something entirely different? Does this have as much of a "theme" as a Joker Card? Most importantly, is a rollercoaster scarier than a world-ending storm? Find out the answers to these and more today. Get your poncho and rain boots, strap in, and keep all limbs inside the ride at all times. This is... The Tempest.
