Sunset Boulevard, o Sunset Blvd.2​ (en España, El crepúsculo de los dioses; en Argentina, México y Uruguay, El ocaso de una vida; en Argentina, también El ocaso de una estrella)1​ es una película estadounidense de cine negro estrenada en 1950, producida y distribuida por Paramount Pictures, dirigida por Billy Wilder, también coautor del guion, producido y coescrito por Charles Brackett y la música a cargo de Franz Waxman.

El título original alude a la célebre avenida que atraviesa Los Ángeles y Beverly Hills, un lugar que en tiempos del cine mudo había albergado las mansiones de muchas estrellas de cine. Aparte de tal alusión, el título esconde un doble significado pues sunset en inglés significa ocaso, crepúsculo, y sugeriría decadencia. La película es una fuerte crítica a Hollywood y a la forma en que destruyó todo lo construido durante el cine mudo.

La película narra la historia de una antigua estrella del cine mudo: Norma Desmond (interpretada por Gloria Swanson), quien, incapaz de aceptar que sus días de gloria pasaron, sueña con un retorno triunfante a la gran pantalla, para el cual espera contar con la ayuda de Joe Gillis (William Holden), un guionista al que convierte en su amante.
