In this edition of the Critical Decisions in Emergency Medicine podcast, Dr. Danya Khoujah and Dr. Wendy Chang discuss the July 2018 publication. Compartment syndrome in the athlete is divided into two major categories: acute compartment syndrome (ACS) and chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS). Khoujah and Chang discuss which patients presenting with AF, VTE, and CHF will succeed in the EDOU, and which can potentially go home.
