Friends of the Rosary,
In today’s first reading (2 Corinthians 12:1-10), we see how Paul begged the Lord to remove "a thorn in the flesh", which was torturing him. We don't know what kind of suffering it was (a blindness, a disease, a remorse of the past...).
God responded: “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.”
Then St. Paul understood that Christ in his suffering was dwelling in him:
"I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses,
in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me.
Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults,
hardships, persecutions, and constraints,
for the sake of Christ;
for when I am weak, then I am strong."
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!
Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Please give us the grace to respond with joy!
