    Owen Jones Author

The Welshman from Barry, South Wales

Owen Jones Author is the Welshman from Barry, South Wales, whose books dominate this blog. I want to say that right from the start, because there is another Owen Jones, who I think is from Liverpool, who is younger and better known. I know that people find it confusing, and what makes it worse is that they are both writers.

    Owen Ceri Jones

However, there is a vast difference in style between the two men. Our Owen Jones is a novelist, a storyteller, whereas the other one is a 'politico' journalist, and writes about politics and society. You could call ours Owen Jones Author, and the other one Owen Jones Politico, I suppose.

    Owen Jones Author

There are other big differences too. Owen Jones Author is my Dad, and he's about thirty years older than Owen Jones Politico. Just to muddy the water again though, Owen Jones Author has been interested in politics for fifty years, and has written at least one political novel, but set in the USSR of the Seventies, and one on social problems, but set in Thailand. Enough of all that though. From now on, ad infinitum, if you see the name Owen Jones on this blog, it refers to my Dad, Owen Jones Author. By the way, he sometimes now regrets not having included Ceri (hard C, as in K), his middle name, in his writer's name. If he had signed his hundreds of books 'Owen Ceri Jones', we would not be faced with this identity 'crisis' now.

    Celtic

Anyway, in order to make the distinction even clearer, my father Owen Jones is both original and imaginative. He has written serious books, but in general his style is more mythical, imaginative and Otherworldly. It is enchanting... it is... Oh, so Celtic!

    Otherworldly

Take The Psychic Megan Series for example. It is about the psychic development of a young teenage girl from Feyton, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Barry. The subtitle says a lot: A Spirit Guide, A Ghost Tiger, and One Scary Mother! These three characters are Megan's almost constant companions, although her father, family and friends also play important roles. This story is profound, enchanting, Otherworldly, and,... Oh, so Celtic!

Yet it finds resonance with people all over the world. In fact, it has already been translated into forty languages. Faith in life after death and reincarnation is a more popular, more common belief than the church would have you think in the UK.

    A Bygone Age

A Night in Annwn is in the same ilk. However, tells of a man who spent a night in Heaven during a Near Death Experience. 'Annwn' (Ah-noon) is the pre-Christian Welsh word for Heaven. It reminds one of a bygone age. It is imaginative, mythical, enchanting, Otherworldly, and, also Oh so Celtic!

Books by Owen Jones Author have worldwide appeal. Many of them are like modern fairy tales, so, if this style appeals to you, why not have a free look at the first chapters of some of his books. The link is below, or in the title bar of every page on this blog, Megan Publishing Services.

  • Bar Girls in Pattaya

The bar girls in Pattaya in the story Behind The Smile

Thailand - The Land of Smiles

The are reportedly tens of thousands of bar girls in Pattaya. A conservative estimate is that there are at least one thousand bars in Pattaya. I think that that's on the low side, but let's go with it, and there are, say, ten hostesses to a bar on average. So, we have 10,000 Bar Girls in Pattaya. It is not an inconceivable number. Many bars, even small ones, have 25-30 hostesses, a word I am using to include ladyboys.

    Imagine that!

However, Pattaya receives more than a million visitors per annum, most of whom are, or certainly used to be, Western men. So, it all stacks up to me.

    Red Light Area In Thailand

There tends not to be a specific red light area in Thai cities, because hostesses have worked in the service industry (hotels, coffee shops, tea houses and bars) for ever. Certainly long before the American troops chose the quiet fishing village of Pattaya for R&R from Vietnam in the Seventies.

    Pattaya Girls

This is not to say that every girl in Pattaya is working in the sex tourism industry. Far from it. Even many of those who do, would deny it saying that they were just looking for a (rich) husband, which tends to mean foreign. This has led bar girls in Pattaya to get a bad reputation. Some undoubtedly deserve it, but not many. 1-5%? Something like that, I reckon. The vast majority of bar girls in Pattaya are great fun, despite some of their obnoxious clientele, and wouldn't dream of ripping anyone off. In fact, Thailand is known the world over as The Land of Smiles.

    The Story Behind The Smile

If you would like to learn more about the lives of some bar girls in Pattaya, try Daddy's Hobby. It is the first volume in the series Behind The Smile by Owen Jones, who has lived in Pattaya and elsewhere in Thailand since 2004. Many Western expats living in Pattaya attest that it is true to life.

    A few words of caution:

To those who are looking for titillation, this s not for you. However, there are a few non-graphic sex scenes - the book is set in the sex tourism industry after all.

  • Niche PLR Content by Owen Jones

    PLR Content

    Niche PLR Content

Niche PLR Content by Welsh Author Owen Jones is high-quality, fresh and original. A lot of it is totally fresh (new), especially the non-English PLR books. You see, much of Owen Jones ' PLR has been translated and narrated into a dozen or more languages. This greatly facilitates using PLR articles in international promo campaigns.

    PLR Ebooks

There are about 125 niche PLR ebooks of 12-20 500-word niche articles per book. Furthermore, many of them now exist in various formats in several languages. The books were all written by the Welsh novelist Owen Jones. This is quite something and should not be underestimated. He has written more than fifty novels, which have also been translated and narrated. He has more than 1,200 publications registered to his name in the British Library.

That is no mean feat, and you are getting PLR ebooks from the same source at a cost of less than one cent per fifty words!

Surely, that's akin to giving this extraordinary niche PLR content away!

    Private Label Ebooks of Articles

These private label ebooks of articles cover a wide range of popular topics. There are ebooks on general subjects such as pets, cars, holidays, children, old age, and clothing, as well as more serious topics like headaches and migraines, cancer, backache, anger management, acne, vegetarianism and dieting to reduce cholesterol.

The ebooks have merit as they are, and most readers buy them for their informational content alone. However, content providers such as bloggers can also use them to supplement their publications during periods when time is short. I'm thinking of during holidays and times of illness… or just to take the pressure off.

    Bloggers

All bloggers know that as soon as you stop posting content, your Google page rank starts to slip. Years of hard work can disappear because of a few weeks of inactivity. I know, it happened to me in 2022.

Every blogger should have an emergency batch of relevant articles that they can schedule for posting if an emergency arises.

This is where our niche PLR content in easy-to-manage targetted PLR ebooks comes in.

  • Pattaya Red Light District Girls

    Pattaya Red Light District Girls

    Red Light Girls

Pattaya Red Light District girls are not in only one area or district as they are in many cities. That is to say that there is no one specific district for Red Light girls or boys, for that matter. Although, there is a 'gay soi' in Pattaya called Soi Cowboy (soi means lane). However, there are ladyboys among the hostesses in many bars, if not most.

Rather, Pattaya is organised, or even disorganised, around the theme of pleasure, and much of that has a sexual nature. I doubt that many of the Pattaya girls in the so-called 'girly bars' consider that they are actually working in the Thai sex tourism industry. Most would say that they are merely looking for a (rich - read foreign) husband.

    Red Light Girls.

And you know what? I actually believe them. However, while waiting for Mr. Right to come along, Pattaya girls have to earn enough money to live. After all, they do not enjoy the privilege of social security in Thailand. Anyway, no one would expect a Western girl not to play the field in her search for a partner, so why do we get so indignant about young people from other continents?

    It is hypocritical.

    Pattaya Red Light District.

So, although you could say that the Pattaya Red Light District girls work or are mostly on or around the sea front, they are in almost every place that sells alcohol over a bar. However, even in places where they don't have in-house hostesses, there are usually Pattaya girls and boys willing to show you the city, or go for a meal with you. This includes waitresses and the staff at hotels, restaurants and shops.

Much the same as in the West.

The main difference is that in Asia, the young are not quite as ageist as their Western counterparts.

    Behind The Smile.

If you would like to read a book or series that features Pattaya Red Light district girls, the series Behind The Smile by Welsh author Owen Jones is excellent. Many expats living in Pattaya agree. The title of the first volume is Daddy's Hobby, which is the name of the bar where Lek, a Pattaya bar girl, works. I'll tell you no more ?

  • The Psychic Megan Series by Owen Jones

The Psychic Megan Series byOwen Jones Author

The 24-part Megan Series was renamed the ‘Psychic Megan Series’ in 2022.

    Owen Jones Author

Owen Jones, a Welsh author from Barry, South Wales, is best known for his books set in Wales, Spain and Thailand. Furthermore, many of Owen Jones’ books contain a paranormal, or supernatural element. Initially, the title of his first psychic series was The Megan Series. However, he added the word 'Psychic' for clarity in 2022. 'The psychic series', as many people call it, consists of twenty-three short books, or novelettes, which follow the life of Megan, a Welsh girl with psychic powers.

    The Misconception

The Misconception is the first book in the series. It has the subtitle ‘A Spirit Guide, A Ghost Tiger, and One Scary Mother!’. Right from the start, Jones introduces us to all three characters in this first book. The underlying theme of the series is that Megan has psychic abilities and wats to explore and develop them.

She has tried to discuss the matter with her Catholic mother, but she gets no help whatsoever. She even gets the impression that her mother fears the very subject. In fact, often Megan brings the subject up, her mother, Suzane, locks in the coalhole. Suzanne is the scary mother in the subtitle of this psychic series.

    The Spirit Guide

Megan’s Spirit Guide, a Sioux named Wacinhinsha, is always on hand to answer any questions that she has. Megan can see and talk with Wacinhinsha just like she can with anyone else on the planet, which this gives her great comfort. Indeed, Wacinhinsha is the only person she has found in her thirteen years, who is willing to discuss, and knowledgeable about, life after death, ghosts, and the Afterlife with her.

    The Ghost Tiger

The name of the huge Siberian ghost tiger is Grrr. You might think of her like a familiar, or pet from Beyond, but Megan doesn’t see her like that. To Megan, Grrr is a companion, a confidante, and a protector, and Grrr seems to agree, adopting the rôle gracefully. If Grrr is not present when Megan needs her, she only has to think of her and Grrr comes running. The same is goes for Wacinhinsha too.

    The Psychic Megan Series

If you look in the title bar of this blog, you will discover many references and links to further details on Welsh author Owen Jones and his books. The section called First Chapters contains links to the first chapters of many of his books including The Psychic Megan Series. Furthermore, most of Owen Jones’ books have been translated and narrated in those languages as well as in English. So, all the links you need are on this blog page.

  • Modern Fairy Stories

    Modern Fairy Stories

Fairy tales in an updated setting...

Fairy stories have been a part of human storytelling for centuries. They offer a magical escape from reality and a way to explore the human experience through allegory and metaphor. In recent times, there has been a resurgence in the popularity of these stories, but with a modern twist. Modern fairy stories incorporate traditional elements of fairy tales, such as magical creatures and enchanted lands in a contemporary setting.

    Harry Potter

One of the most significant examples of the modern use of fairy stories is J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. While the series takes place in a magical world, it also incorporates many contemporary themes, such as prejudice, the dangers of totalitarianism, and the power of love and friendship. The story's themes and characters resonate with readers across the globe. This has led to the series becoming one of the best-selling book franchises in history. The Harry Potter series is just one example of how modern fairy stories can capture the imagination of readers while also providing a commentary on contemporary issues.

Modern fairy stories are not limited to books, however. In recent years, there has been a surge in fairy tale-inspired films and television shows, such as Disney's live-action remakes of classic animated films and the TV series Once Upon a Time. These adaptations often reimagine traditional fairy tales, incorporating modern sensibilities and themes to appeal to contemporary audiences. For example, in the Disney live-action remake of Cinderella, the protagonist is portrayed as a strong, independent woman who takes control of her own destiny rather than relying on a prince to save her.

    Welsh Writer Owen Jones

Modern fairy stories also often incorporate diverse perspectives and representation. For instance, Owen Jones's The Psychic Megan Series uses the lives of a family's members to discuss and illustrate supernatural powers. Difficult items, such as healing, clairvoyance and communication with those who have passed on for example. These diverse perspectives can help to broaden the appeal of fairy tales. They allow more readers to see themselves reflected in the stories. The story uses fantasy elements to explore themes of family, identity, and the dangers of obsession and control.

One significant aspect of modern fairy stories is their ability to explore complex and difficult topics in a way that is accessible to readers of all ages. For example, Owen Jones uses his Annwn-Heaven series to discuss life after death, re-incarnation, the Spirit World and Heaven.

    A Thumb's Up

Modern fairy stories are a testament to the enduring power of the fairy tale as a story-telling form. By blending traditional elements of fairy tales with contemporary themes and perspectives, these stories can capture the imaginations of readers of all ages while also providing a commentary on the issues facing our world today. Whether in books, films, or television shows, modern fairy stories continue to enchant and inspire audiences, offering a timeless escape from reality while also reflecting our collective experiences.

  • Soi Nana – Sukhumvit Soi 4 – Fun or Frightening?

A bar such as on Soi Nana

Soi Nana is located in the heart of what most foreign tourists would call Bangkok’s Red Light District. It has a long history.

    Sukhumvit Soi 4.

This famous street is well-known as Soi Nana, but it is officially Sukhumvit Soi 4, which means that it is the fourth side-street off Sukhumvit Road. Originally, it was just an alley, a shortcut between two main roads. It is in the old Chinatown of Bangkok

    Soi Nana.

It has a rich history. For example, Thailand's first ever gin bar is located there and still open. However, Soi Nana now has scores, if not hundreds, of bars, hotels and restaurants. The variety is stunning and is the main reason for its popularity.

    Chinatown.

In fact, Nana has always been able to 'move with the times'. The gangs that fought over the streets in Chinatown in the Fifties and Sixties probably still exist, but they have learned not to frighten the tourists. If the turf wars of that period still continue, then they are invisible to the average visitor.

The Sukhumvit Soi 4 that you see now took form during the first decade of the new millennium. Despite its new image, it is the same as any well-organised nightlife area in any major city. If you are the kind of person who causes trouble when drunk, you had better stick to country pubs, where landlords are typically more forgiving of troublemakers.

    Tourist Attraction.

My wife, my daughter and I have stayed in Soi Nana many times, and have never witnessed any problems, but given how drunk many of the young tourists get, I am certain that this is because of the staff rather than that it does not occur. When I visit Soi Nana, I expect to have a great time, and trouble is never on my list of expectations. So, visit the area with confidence - I'm sure that you will have a lot of fun ?

  • PLR Ebook Providers For More Successful International Sales Campaigns

    PLR Ebook Providers

PLR ebook providers are a source of useful, relevant, important information! Find out more about this undervalued resource below.

PLR stands for Private Label Rights. This means that someone else has created an article on a topic, which includes the research and the writing. If the article fits in with the requirements of what you would like to write about, then it is potentially useful to you. The authors of such articles give, or sell, you permission to use their content in your publication, and then sell copies of it under your own name as if you had written it.

    What Are PLR Ebooks?

Many PLR Ebook providers sell bundles of targeted PLR articles in the form of ebooks. Such ebooks may contain ten to twelve PLR articles on closely related, niche subjects.

Why Should You Buy PLR Ebooks?

Two of the reasons why writers and publishers buy PLR ebooks are that they are a fast and cheap way of obtaining content for a publication. For example, if you see a great skin care product that you would like to promote, you can either spend days researching and writing a dozen articles on the subject, or you can spend $20 on pre-written material and start selling immediately.

The Pros & Cons Of PLR Ebook Providers

There are various pros and cons of using PLR ebook providers. However, they are basically the same as when buying any product. Quality is of prime importance. In the case of PLR, this means material that a professional has diligently researched, professionally written and not oversold. In other words, you don't want to be able to find your article on dozens of competitors’ websites around the Internet. This is called fresh content.

Where To Go For More Information About PLR Ebooks

So, if you’re looking for more information about PLR ebooks, then you should check out our collection of 125 niche PLR ebooks on this blog. Furthermore, ours are unique for several important reasons. A professional novelist has written them, and many of the ebooks exist in several languages. This means that you can sell to other countries with confidence using the exact same sales campaigns. This is what professionals do. Just look at ads for the same products in Britain, Spain, France, Germany, the USA, etc... They are all basically the same!

Now, you can do that too!

    Conclusion on PLR Ebook Providers

There are plenty of places online where you can buy niche PLR ebooks. However, most of them have been poorly written, overspun, and oversold. No other PLR ebook provider except Megan Publishing Services offers niche PLR ebooks written by a professional novelist and translated by professional native translators. This means that you can run the same sales campaigns simultaneously in several countries.

  • PLR Blog Content for Writers

PLR blog content for WritersPhoto by Pixabay on Pexels.com

PLR blog content is useful for reasons that will suit many people including discerning authors. This may seem strange since you would expect them to write their own material. The fact is that they do, but a great deal of work goes into writing a good article or post, and sometimes even authors just don't have the time to produce writing of high quality. This is where good PLR blog content can be useful. A good PLR author will have done the necessary research for the piece.

    Find a reputable PLR provider

There are reputable companies out there offering PLR articles. However, most of the firms you will find are just reselling other people’s work that has been spun and respun so many times that it doesn't make sense any longer. Yet others are selling plagiarized content. If you find one that offers high-quality PLR content, then you should make a note of it.

Choose a PLR topic or keyword phrase

Once you have chosen a topic or keyword phrase to help you find the article you need, you need to decide what kind of article you want. Do you want an ezine article, how-to article, social media post, blog content, or something else?

Find PLR blog content based on that topic

There are several ways to find content. One option is to search The Internet. Another option is to use a paid service. Obviously, one method is cheaper and the other more time-consuming.

    Add images, videos, links, etc.

Once you have found an article that you think would work well for your business, you need to 'make it your own '. You can do this by adjusting the style of the piece to match your own. You can also add some additional elements to make it more appealing to your readers. This includes adding images, videos, links to other articles, and even testimonials.

    Publish your PLR content!

Once you have produced a good article from your PLR blog content, you should publish it as soon as possible. It will help you build authority and credibility with readers and the search engines. Repeating this process regularly will help you build up your own collection of high-quality PLR blog content.
