This week, I’m recording in the middle of moving-day chaos — new house, destroyed studio, a prosthetic socket that’s giving me more pain than it has in months, and a whole lot of stubbornness on my part. After losing my foot in 2023, I knew I wanted to keep doing things myself. So yes… I was moving washers and couches and hauling trailers. And for a while, it was going fine — until my socket started failing and the pain hit hard. That meant an emergency trip to the prosthetist right in the middle of moving. But the real disaster hit after the appointment: I reached into my pocket and realized I had the WRONG keys… and my actual truck keys were locked inside the truck. So now I’m outside, prosthetic hurting, trailer hooked up, long day behind me — and I’m crawling through a window like it’s a heist movie. 😅 This episode is real, messy, and honest — exactly what life looks like when you’re an amputee trying to keep things moving, literally and figuratively.
