Laura Sgro, of Out of the Woods Therapy, is a holistic anxiety and trauma therapist in California, utilizing both evidence-based and experiential techniques to help folks heal. In addition to her practice, she loves speaking about various mental health topics and also creates psychoeducational (but relatable) content in her quest to make mental health information more accessible to all. Laura is also on the Board of Directors for a women's hiking and wellness nonprofit, We Hike to Heal.

Nature wholeheartedly informs Laura's work. In virtual therapy, we lean into nature through metaphor, mindfulness, and activities that help clients connect with nature and therefore expand their connection with self and others. Nature inherently reflects the process of healing and was the inspiration behind her practice name, Out of the Woods Therapy. She also plans to incorporate outdoor and walk-and-talk therapy later this year, which will be an exciting adventure!

Penelope Claire is on a mission is to help empathic women connect to their intuition and body wisdom to balance their energies lose weight and create the life of their deepest desires. To assist this process she provides quantum energy healing and intuitive guidance.

As a result of stepping outside the weight loss matrix, and envisioning their greatest wellbeing, many clients find themselves drawn to exercising in nature, i.e. hiking up mountains, swimming in the ocean (rather than a gym or indoor class).
