About two weeks ago, I had an interaction with a girl that has stayed with me. She walked up to me, dressed a little haggard and tried to speak. I assumed she wanted to beg for money, and I was not in the best mood so I waved my hands at her, telling her to walk away. She nodded and started to walk away, but suddenly turned back and spoke to me. Her words: You are telling me to go away, you’d not even listen to me, I am too small abi? She sounded so pained and walked away. It stayed with me, and I felt so bad. After that, I consistently thought about our interactions with the needy, what does God expect? How do I deal with beggars on the street? Today we explore scripture. I am learning. I hope you will learn with me too.
Ps. There’s a challenge for the week, will you listen? Most importantly, will you go out of your way to accomplish this challenge?
