  • How to Act When the Word of God Goes Ahead of You

Many times, we come to God with our needs, or with heavy burdens and He hears us. However, the result of God’s answer may linger and many of us do not know how to wipe our tear and live in joy in seasons of waiting. Today I talk about God’s word going ahead of us and what our reactions should be. We share an example from scripture.

  • Never Losing Dependence on God

Guys, recently I had this thought of self sufficiency and I immediately asked God to ‘never let me get to the point where I do not depend on Him entirely. Today I share how challenges are a great tool to keep us dependent on God and how perhaps, they may be really okay to have.

  • Life is a Walk of Faith

  • The One Where Jesus Saved Me!

As we celebrate what Easter means to us as Christians, I thought I’d share my own salvation story. From the girl who moved from expert ‘malice keeper’ to ‘cannot hold a grudge’. The girl who moved from fearing condemnation to basking in God’s unending love. The girl who moved from fear filled, so fearful about everything, to the one who now trusts without reserve.

Jesus changed me, visibly. And I share that much.

  • My Treatment of Family: I am an Adult!

Today’s episode explores adult relationships with parents and siblings. As we wrap up conversations on relationships, I figured we’d talk about God’s first unit in Earth- family. Today we answer some questions: does love solidify as adulthood takes us farther away from home? What’s God’s expectation of me in how I treat my family? How intentional can I be in maintaining familial relationships?

  • What God Demands in Our Treatment of Strangers

About two weeks ago, I had an interaction with a girl that has stayed with me. She walked up to me, dressed a little haggard and tried to speak. I assumed she wanted to beg for money, and I was not in the best mood so I waved my hands at her, telling her to walk away. She nodded and started to walk away, but suddenly turned back and spoke to me. Her words: You are telling me to go away, you’d not even listen to me, I am too small abi? She sounded so pained and walked away. It stayed with me, and I felt so bad. After that, I consistently thought about our interactions with the needy, what does God expect? How do I deal with beggars on the street? Today we explore scripture. I am learning. I hope you will learn with me too.

Ps. There’s a challenge for the week, will you listen? Most importantly, will you go out of your way to accomplish this challenge?

  • God Wants Us to Have Friends

For some reason, I cannot stop thinking about my friendships, about how privileged I am because I have community. About how I don’t do life alone because I found my people. And so, I went to scriptures, pulled God’s word out to show you (and myself) that- God delights in friendship and community. In fact, He prescribes it!

  • God Does Not Think You Are Melodramatic!

    Two lessons in Prayer:

    1. God does not think you are melodramatic, you cannot overwhelm Him!

    2. Most times in our walk with God, we do not need new strategy, we just need an old certainty- God did it before, He’d not fail now!

This episode will bless you big time.
