Ok, I'm going to be honest: this one is a bit inside baseball even for the biggest Just Ericson fan.

Dan and I have known each other almost a decade which is crazy considering I didn't even realize we were to become friends when I first met him buying his second X-Box 360 from me at Game Stop (where does the time go).

You may have already heard about Dan in the previous episodes with Lu Garcia. This recording took place in Lu's living room while he put an insane amount of effort towards making sure his family didn't make too much noise interference.

In this conversation we re-tell a very long story about the time I helped damn commit strong armed robbery, how we met, and talk about my ability to see what matters in the moment.

Lu and I have a very "philadelphian" relationship. Honest, curt, slightly cruel but deeply woven with love. When I worked at Apple Retail, there was a group of guys you wanted to get in with and Lu was one of those guys. Over the years I've battled hoards of nazi zombies with Lu, played hours of poker well into the morning, and even got him into Magic: The Gathering of which he now dominates me at every time we play.

I'd been trying to get him to come back up to Los Angeles to record but seeing as he couldn't find a solid weekend away I decided to drive down to him in San Diego.

In this interview we immediately re-examine an old email Lu once sent telling me to fuck off, a triple date night that I still get inappropriately blamed for ruining, and how I act like my life is a TV Show.

This episode took me almost a year to finally get. Scarlet and I met in "the room" as we professionals call it. I auditioned for a role in her web-series, 'Karmic' (which is on it's second season on the popular content platform YouTube! LINK BELOW!) only to not only not-get-cast but also to later have our first personal interaction outside of work be less than pleasant. Of course, count on me to find that to be a perfect reason to bring someone on my podcast and talk about me.

Christian is from the same acting class as Dru Perez from the previous episode. We even re-cover some of the events from the previous episode in this one. You know, some fine tooth comb shit.

I thought I was going to be shit out of luck this week for a guest after two people canceled but to my pleasant surprise Rachel wasn't only visiting from Japan, she wanted to see me and catch up on what's happened over the last four years (that's right, this is one of the very first people I met in Los Angeles)!

Josh and I met on the same set as I met Jakki from the last episode but we didn't really become close until we bumped back into each other at TeaPop... yeah, I'm there a lot. Since then he's attended my comedy shows, invited me to script-readings, and introduced me to menagerie of memorable individuals. He's that guy who is always down to listen and is always surrounded by interesting individuals.

In this conversation we talk about how I push people's buttons, my first bringer show, and where square pegs belong.

Jakki is one of my favorite people to talk to. Possibly the funniest girl I know if not a damn close second. Also because even though she's insanely good at making it about her: it's at least always entertainingly so. I met her on set of a short film that, like all Hollywood Shorts, is only a year into post-production and therefore has another five years before it starts making the festival circuit. We're not the closest of friends, in fact we bump into each other way more than we plan on seeing the one another and yet it works out perfectly.
