A fitting week to talk about gratitude… because watching my buddy Liam St. John make his Grand Ole Opry debut the other night hit me right in the heart.

I’m beyond grateful to get to do what I love for a living.. to chase down my own dreams every day and watch my friends achieve theirs.. and to make music alongside friends who inspire me. Playing on Liam’s new album, Man of the North, was such an honor — and seeing him shine on that legendary stage was something I won’t forget.

Proud of you, brother. What a night.

The new Ghost of Yōtei soundtrack is absolute 🔥! https://soundtracks.lnk.to/ghostofyotei

Liam St. John and I have been jamming together for years, and he just released his brand new album, Man of the North. I had the honor of playing lead guitar on the record, and it turned out absolutely killer.

A couple days after we shared the stage for his album release show here in Nashville, we headed over to my home studio to capture some Back Porch Blues Sessions. This video is the very first tune we laid down — “Diving Duck Blues” by Sleepy John Estes.

Liam is a powerhouse rock & roll vocalist, but he feels just as natural diving into that old-school Delta Blues. I’m excited to share this one with you, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did recording it.
