Listening to Kiirtan from Congo is awesome!. I first heard it on Online Kiirtan for the Universe FB page. The person behind all this is Ashok, a senior Margii, who writes Kiirtan and promotes it every day. I just found out that they often go to the villages ands record Baba Nam Kevalam kiirtan in traditional tunes and with local instruments. Ashok shares his unique perspective on the value of Kiirtan as well as other devotional gems. Theres also the RAWA group that has recorded over 20 albums. The first two Unity Hours albums were written and recorded in London during my PhD years. Unity Hours III, was written and recorded in Aotearoa, NZ and the fourth or Unity Hours IV, will be recorded in Ireland, where I have been for the past three years or more. Abdur was born in Mayanar and had to go to Bangladesh and now is in Ireland.  Its been a long journey for him and here Abdur shares a little of his experience in Ireland. Nina is a language teacher and has been volunteering at the farm for about ten days. She talks about her background and her experience at the farm as well as her first experience of kiirtan. She ends by singing a lovely song. 

Vinay Speaks about his experiences with Kiirtan, keeping the rhythm in your hands and how devotional associations with the kiirtan tunes has an uplifting effect.
