The shraddha ceremony (Yogic Funeral) was performed at Sunrise Farm on Sunday, led by Didi Ananda Prama, with about 50 people participating. Mount Shannon Arts has dedicated this very significant festival to Saskia Byrne as she was a great supporter of the festival, and an artist, singer and dancer herself. This is the 25th anniversary of the the Mount Shannon Arts Festival and it's full of diverse, colourful, and inspiring events. Tonight I reflect on a few blissful experiences singing with Saskia - We did three collaborative musical projects together in s group, over five years. Saskia Byrne was a beacon of light in so many peoples lives. Last night so many members of her local cmmunity came together at Adrainas house to honour her and share our love and experiences with her. Tonight a few of us also share our experiences with her, how she forged deep meaningful connections with people and between people. She was a lovely, welcoming person who inspired others through her warmth, kindness, her singing, art and other wonderful qualities. Some of John O'Donohue's poems were read and a few chants were sung: 'Tiny Green Island', 'Ami Tomake Bhalo Basi Baba' (I love you most beloved) and 'Ocean of my dreams'. Our love and support go out to her family, Jano, Tarka, Mum and Afrika at this painful time. We feel so much love and gratitude for the gifts she brought to all of us.

Tonight I sing Janama Lagane, A Birthday song, less well known, but divine nevertheless. Do you want the musical scores of Janama Lagane (134), Janma Dine (135) and Tumi Jakhan Esechile (903)? I have transcribed these three songs from recordings by Dada Priyashivananda's recordings and had them checked by Madhumita in NZ with the Bengali notation. Today is a momentous occasion, one that will not repeat on this earth, the celebration of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijis 100th Birthday. We are all overjoyed and singing kiirtan all over the planet, online and live. Anchal came from a Hindu family in India, and Pauls family are also from India, but he was born in the UK. Anchal and Paul's stories about how they both came to the spiritual path are fascinating, inspiring and informative I end with a song from Prabhat Samgiita called 'Pita Mata Bandhu Sakha', by Anjali and myself. 

The Embodiment of Bliss documentary brought back some very poignant reminders of how it was for me, being with Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji (Baba) over 15 years on this planet. It also made me remember what it took to get to where we are today. I end with the song 'Light House on the Cliff' from 'Reign of Love' album.
