Very light convo, have you been into someone lately? I think I’m missing that...but am I?

Am I like the only one that has issues with kissing? Does this mean I am so emotionally broken? Who can relate to this? And does kissing mean your getting in deep? Who wants to be deep with someone ?

This book was on my reading list for a class. I was blessed to hear Tea talk about her book on a panel and her journey. She is so remarkable and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.I am obsessed, I don’t think I have ever felt so moved after reading a book since “The Coldest Winter Ever”. It’s like the short, pocket, less violent, less sexual version. The writing just feels personal, and ironically I think we all know one of these women’s in our lives.

So I recently had an experience...a confrontation if you will, with another woman. Who didn’t like my opinion, and tried to invalidate what I was saying.

When is enough....enough? When do you walk away from someone who you invested so much time into? And okay they aren’t bad, and sometimes they show sign of change...but they never really change!

Here is a story time about how I entered back into the world of cohabitation and why I exited. But rather than walk away and be bitter, this time I took some educational points. Hmm as a young black woman, relationships were different for me. I am so lucky to have diversified friends. And when we get together, we chat. It’s so interesting when my friends say, since they were little they were trained to be married. As I reflect, although I’m black I come from a mixed background. I literally have a “tiger mom” it was important for me to be educated and trained into a profession. Marriage was third after the career. But funny now that I’ve dominated education and career, I have little interest in marriage. Mainly because as a black woman I have work and world changes to make....what’s your thought ?
