Nidra is a form of meditation from ancient Hindu philosophy. It promotes healthy nervous system regulation and has been found to promote sleep, calm stress, reduce chronic pain, manage negative thought patterns, and help promote the development of inner resources for addressing trauma or managing chronic conditions.
You may choose to complete the whole 22 minute practice, or you may pop in for just a few minutes. However you choose to use this recording, thank yourself for giving your mind and body a chance to find a bit more ease. If you’re new to the practice, it’s normal to have some resistance.
