  • There’s Power in Proximity
I’m literally so excited to kick off this podcast series on my mantras! Over the past 16 years, these mantras have really helped not only propel my business, but they’ve also helped me teach my team how to do the same. BUT… These mantras aren’t just for business, you can absolutely use them in your personal life as well!
So let’s jump right into it, shall we?
Something I have told my team time and time again is that we have to get in person with people and spend time with them in order to build relationships. There’s so much power in proximity!!
Well… What happens when getting in person isn’t really an option anymore? We’re almost two years into a global pandemic, but that doesn’t change the fact that one of our most powerful business-building tools is proximity.
I’ve recently discovered that proximity is much more than getting into the same space as someone. So tune in while I discuss different ways that you can connect with others in person or from afar!

  • Ditching Mom Guilt for Good with My Son, Landon Dempsey
    Mom guilt? (Or dad guilt)…
    If you’re a parent, I’m sure you’ve felt it.
I’ve been working my home-based business for 16 years and I’ve met a lot of working moms and dads along the way. And one thing I’ve watched parents struggle with over and over again is their guilt.
We’re afraid we’re missing out, afraid we’re working too much, afraid we’re too disconnected… The list of self-sabotaging thoughts goes on and on! I know because I’ve been there too. The enemy has worked overtime to make me feel like a bad mom too many times!
But my oldest son, Landon, has given me a different perspective on that guilt! He’s made me realize that what he sees in his working mom is so much different than what I assumed.
So I thought instead of doing a podcast with other moms that feel the same way, I should do one with my son, who has been around this industry since he was six months old.
I can’t wait for you to tune in and get a glimpse into the realities of how a child of network marketing really feels!

  • How to Be a Smart Steward of Your Money
You all know that I’m super passionate about my kids, teaching, and coaching, but most of you don’t know just how passionate I am about money. But it’s not just about making money… It’s about saving, stewarding, and being able to be generous with my money!
Money management was something that my parents instilled into us at a very young age, but I’m obviously not an expert! So in this episode, I brought in my dear friend and financial planner, Bill Johnson. Lean in while we chat about lessons I’ve learned and dive into the basics of money management.
I can’t wait to hear what you think and any a-ha moments you had along the way.

  • Getting What You Want in Life with Shellye Archambeau
As a mom and businesswoman who has often felt like society tells us we have to choose between having a career or being a mom, I LOVE finding like-minded women who are unapologetically ambitious about having a family AND a career they love.
Shellye Archambeau is one of those women and I can’t tell you how excited I am that she joined me in this podcast episode to talk about how women can have the best of both worlds and what it takes to get what you really want in life!
For those of you who don’t know, Shellye is the best-selling author of the book Unapologetically Ambitious (which is an AMAZING read that I highly recommend), as well as an experienced CEO, strategic advisor, and a member of multiple Fortune 500 company boards. And did I mention she’s a wife, mom, and grandma on top of it all?!
She’s the definition of a boss – both in the business world and at home. And I loved hearing her perspective on the trade-offs and choices ALL of us have to make to get what we want in life.
I can’t wait to hear what you think and any a-ha moments you had along the way.

  • Advocating For Yourself
It didn’t “hit” me until this last year, but I really believe that advocating for yourself is one of the most powerful tools you have.
It’s an opportunity to speak up for yourself when your voice isn’t being heard. A chance to ask for help, mentoring, or attention when you need it.
A skill you can use to negotiate on your behalf, or on someone’s else (like your children, your teammates, or your employees).
The ways you can advocate for yourself are endless, but it’s a tool everyone needs in their toolbox.
Hear how it’s changed my life… and I can’t wait to hear how it changes yours too!

  • When Quitting Becomes a Good Thing
As someone who’s extremely competitive and spent years as a basketball coach, quitting has never been a big word in my vocabulary.
I’ve always been the person to advocate for finishing what you start, no matter how hard it gets.
And as much as I still believe in pushing through the hard stuff that makes you better and stronger, I recently heard a new angle on quitting that made a lot of sense to me…
We need to quit doing things that don’t serve us.
I’m not just talking about quitting a bad habit like smoking.
I’m talking about the habits we ALL have and just “put up with” even though they make life harder.
Trust me, a lot of these apply to me… but I can pretty much guarantee I mention at least one in this episode that YOU need to quit too.
I can’t wait to hear your feedback once you listen in.

  • How to Deal With Disappointment
It doesn’t matter where you’re from or who you are… we all have to deal with disappointment throughout our lives. It’s not fun. It’s not easy.
…But it IS necessary, and it does make you stronger!
The last year has been especially difficult for many reasons, and I know most people of us struggled with disappointment multiple times.
And while I’m not saying I have ALL  the answers, I’ve definitely been there! I’ve dealt with disappoint many times and discovered some helpful tools to cope along the way.
I hope you find some value in this episode, and as always, I would love to hear your feedback!

  • You Were Born to Dream! (with Bruce Wilkinson)
Bruce Wilkinson is someone who’s taught me a LOT about dreaming and I’m so honored to have him as my guest on this podcast episode!
As children, we all have dreams of doing big things in our lives. But somehow, along the way to adulthood, we aren’t encouraged to dream as much as we’re told to get “realistic.”
I don’t think it has to be an either/or situation though.  I believe we can be realistic, but I also believe we can dream big – and we should!
Bruce is the perfect example of someone who has continued to dream and re-dream throughout his life! He’s a teacher, pastor, philanthropist, and the author of 70+ books (including several of my personal favorites The Prayer of Jabez & The Dream Giver).
Bruce and I talk about turning your dreams into a reality, and how to keep re-dreaming as you check the others off of your dream board!
I can’t wait for you to listen to this episode, and as always, I can’t wait to hear your a-ha moments!
