The Chiefs face the Raiders this week in a game that seems to have a lot of bad blood. Kansas State and Iowa State play in my college football game of the week. Missouri hopes to have enough healthy players to play at South Carolina. I have all of that and a lot more in this fun episode.

None of the local teams are playing this weekend but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to discuss. The Chiefs are battling for the top seed in the AFC playoffs. We heard about the Royals' interest in a free-agent starting pitcher. We know when Sporting will play its first playoff game. The College Football Playoff committee is considering pushing back games if necessary. We also have a good amount of college basketball news this week.

The Chiefs easily beat the Jets, and now they have the Carolina Panthers up next. They might be playing this one without Chris Jones. I’ll explain, talk about the game and look into what I expect with the running game going forward.

Kansas State has its hands full again this week against Oklahoma State.

Kansas travels to Oklahoma for what will be an ugly game.

Sporting has a chance to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference with a win on Sunday. I’ll talk about that.
