Karate in the Garage

SPECTEMBER 2023 CONTINUES!

This is one is second only to Ghost Story for ghost movie mentions on this show. It's Peter Medak's The Changeling with the legend George C. Scott, Trish Van Devere, and all-timer Melvyn Douglas completing his ghost movie hat trick.

From IMDB: After the death of his wife and daughter in a car crash, a music professor staying at a long-vacant Seattle mansion is dragged into a decades-old mystery by an inexplicable presence in the mansion's attic.

We've reached Movie #3 of Tarnished Silver, and this one is not like the others. We have master Peter Hyams' Enemies Closer with Jean-Claude Van Damme, Tom Everett Scott, and Orlando Jones.

From IMDB: Deep within a forest on the U.S.-Canadian border, two sworn enemies must work together to escape a ruthless drug cartel hell-bent on retrieving a drug shipment which went missing there.

Tarnished Silver is delivering to us this week 1997's Double Tap with Stephen Rea, Heather Locklear, and so many character actors, you'll spend more time looking people up on IMDB than watching the actual movie. (That may be for the better.)

From IMDB: A drug-lord targets an undercover FBI agent and the hit man she falls in love with while tracking.

K.
